Wow… great… thanks!
I had a few older external hard drives that I wanted to connect to my brand new iMac 27” Retina 5k running OS X El Capitan. I didn’t want to slow down my system by connecting some older technology but didn’t know how to go about testing the drives. So I googled my question, and found this little puppy. After downloading version 2.2.2 and running the read/write tests, I realized my older Seagate external drive was still pretty fast while my Iomega was dreadfully slow… so, dumpster for that one. Thanks BlackMagic! (This is not an infomercial nor am I in any way associated with the company that distributes this product… I’m just just a happy customer.) By the way, it took only seconds to download and launch. And it’s free... How good is that!
