where is the logic?
You were wondering how can read/write speeds differ based on whether you are using PAL or NTSC in your digital files? Well, install this joke of an app and it will tell you that your disk performs better in NTSC!
The whole idea of basing all the results around video formats is crazy: disk performance has nothing to do with formats, but with file sizes, disk fragmentation, etc. Also this app does not take into account the possible presence of “fusion” drives, with ssd caches boosting the conventional drive performance.
There is no setting to test for random/continous file access, no setting for smaller file sizes.
Conclusion: it is a toy, a joke, and not a serious benchmark.
