Not a simple benchmark

I just wanted a speed measurement of my new super-duper flash drive, SSD, and hard drive.
But:
A. BlackMagic wont even fit on my MBP screen, I had to connect an external monitor to see the whole window.
B. It never finishes, never gives an answer, just continuously changing numbers
C. the Start button doesnt even change to Stop, so you have no idea its never going to finish running.
D. it may be fine for someone doing video, but Id guess 95% dont care about that and just want speed numbers.

There has got to be something better if you want to measure speed of your drives. Im still looking.
